Old Glory denied admittance to Alabama Olive Garden:

Marti Warren of Anniston said she wasn't allowed to bring an American flag into an Olive Garden for a planned Kiwanis Club banquet in the east Alabama town of Oxford.

Olive Garden said:

"To be fair to everyone and avoid disrupting the dining experience for all other guests, they're unable to accommodate flags or banners of any type in the dining room,"

Olive Garden doesn't have to worry abot me "disrupting the dining experience" of anyone there,by me displaying my U.S. currency there.

Update: Olive Garden has come to its senses:

Olive Garden issued this statement: "We are very sorry for any misunderstanding about this issue. We do not have a policy at Olive Garden concerning bringing the American flag into our restaurants. Some members of our team were misinformed about company policy by our corporate office. As a company, we take responsibility for that and we regret it.  We take pride in how we communicate to our restaurants and we are correcting this so it doesn't happen again. Like all Americans, we have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for the American flag and everything it symbolizes, and we welcome anyone who wishes to bring the flag into our restaurants. In fact, we periodically provide American flag collar pins to our employees to wear while serving guests."

Old Glory Banned At Club Gitmo

I was stunned to learn while researching Mastermind that Guantanamo detainees succeeded in convincing prison officials to no longer raise the American flag anywhere they could see it. Each morning on every U.S. military base around the world, the American flag is raised to a bugle. But in the interests of not offending the detainees, it was stopped at Guantanamo.

The more we pander to these savages, the more we bow to their evil god and efface ourselves and crawl around on our bellies in the name of "sensitivity," the more weakness they will smell, the more they will attack us.

This might seem like a stupid question, but before you vote, consider that wise educrats have their reasons for wanting to ban Old Glory. Prominent among them is that Reconquistadors don't like it, having already progressed from doing the work Americans won't do to despising the flag Americans don't despise. Failure to pander to the politically privileged could compromise safety, or so we're told.
