Liberals didn't like all the flags that spontaneously appeared after 9/11. Now that Osama bin Laden has finally gotten what he had coming, they aren't liking the patriotic celebrations. WaPo's Petula Dvorak sanctimoniously gripes about displays of national joy, which she denounces as "vulgar":What is vulgar is the lefts loatheing of this country.Just once can't you liberals be happy for America.Just this once.
When I saw that folks were celebrating in the streets at the news of bin Laden's death, my first reaction was a cringe. Remember how we all felt watching videos of Muslims dancing in celebration on Sept. 11, 2001?
Musings on history,most especially on the War Between The States,southern culture and anything else that may tickle my fancy or riles my blood.

"Obama has Turned America Upside Down When He Bombed Libya"
Victor Davis Hanson,has written an article describing how Barack Obama has turned America on its ear just by bombing Libya.
In it he says this;
I've said it before and i'll say it again,Hypocrites,the whole lot of them.
In it he says this;
By bombing Libya, President Obama accomplished some things once thought absolutely impossible in America:Also this;
a) War-mongering liberals. Liberals are now chest-thumping about military "progress" in Libya. Even liberal television and radio cite ingenious reasons why an optional, preemptive American intervention in an oil-producing Arab country, without prior congressional approval or majority public support -- and at a time of soaring deficits -- is well worth supporting, in a sort of "my president, right or wrong" fashion. Apparently liberal foreign policy is returning to the pre-Vietnam days of the hawkish "best and brightest."
c) Iraq was just a Libyan prequel. Conservatives have complained that past opposition -- especially in the cases of then-Sens. Barack Obama and Joe Biden -- to George W. Bush's antiterrorism policies and wars in Afghanistan and Iraq was more partisan than principled. Obama ended that debate by showing that not only can he embrace -- or, on occasion, expand -- the Bush-Cheney tribunals, preventative detentions, renditions, Predator attacks, intercepts and wiretaps, and Guantanamo Bay, but now preemptively attack an Arab oil-exporting country without fear of Hollywood, congressional cutoffs, Moveon.org "General Betray Us"-type ads, Cindy Sheehan on the evening news, or "Checkpoint"-like novels. In short, Obama has ensured that the exasperated antiwar movement will never be quite the same.Be assured,the next time we have a Republician president we will hear from the ant-war left in all its lunacy.For now,it will do as its master (the Democratic Party) commands,be silent.
I've said it before and i'll say it again,Hypocrites,the whole lot of them.

The Hypocrisy Of The Anti-War Left
Michael Filozof at the American Thinker;
The anti-war left is nothing more than the monkey that dances to the tune that the Democratic party plays on its organ.When Republicans are in the White House war is bad.When Democrats are in the White House war is good.Hypocrites!President Obama has just committed American forces to engage in acts of war against Moammar Qaddafi. Where are the protesters? Where are the accusations that Obama is a liar and a Nazi? Where are the groups of "artists" wishing death upon the "warmonger" Obama? Where are the cries for Obama's impeachment? There aren't any, and there won't be any, either. Obama - who made a fetish out of his opposition to the "surge" in Iraq, yet ordered a "surge" of his own in Afghanistan - has just committed American forces to combat action against a third Muslim country. No matter. He won the Nobel Peace Prize a priori. The Left regards him as a man of peace in its own mind; the facts are irrelevant.
The Left's hypocrisy on matters of war and peace is sickening. When the Democratic Party is in power, it routinely commits America to war. When Republicans are in power, Democrats engage in shameless demagoguery and paint the Republicans as bloodthirsty warmongers.
