As for the approaching precipice, the only guy who seems to feel the urgency of our dire fiscal condition and who talked about making real cuts in government was . . . Ron Paul. Sigh.You may sigh at the mention of his name.You may think he is out of touch cocerning foriegn policy.But when it comes to the economic collapse that we are facing as a nation,you have to admit,that in the GOP field,only Ron Paul gets it.
