Obama Has Hit The Reset Button All The Way Back To 1979 With Iran

Iranian protesters storm the British embassy:
Trita Parsi, a U.S.-based expert on Iranian relations with the West said the attacks were very worrisome development.
"It is yet another sign that rather than permitting diplomacy to de-escalate the situation, tensions between Iran and the West are on the rise with Iran's continued nuclear work, sabotage, assassinations, sanctions and now the attack on the embassy," he told Reuters.
2011 has become 1979,with the exception that their is no Reagan waiting in the wings to set things right.

'The Gospel According To Peanuts'

CBS almost didn't air,A Charlie Brown Christmas, because of the reading from the Gospel of Luke on the birth of Christ:
Which is why Charles Schulz was Charles Schulz. He knew that the Luke reading by Linus was the heart and soul of the story.

As Charlie Brown sinks into a state of despair trying to find the true meaning of Christmas, Linus quietly saves the day. He walks to center of the stage where the Peanuts characters have gathered, and under a narrow spotlight, quotes the second chapter of the Gospel According to Luke, verses 8 through 14:
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace and goodwill towards men.
“ . . . And that’s what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown,” Linus concluded.
The scene lasted 51 seconds. When Linus finished up, Charlie Brown realized he did not have to let commercialism ruin his Christmas. With a sense of inspiration and purpose, he picked up his fragile tree and walked out of the auditorium, intending to take it home to decorate and show all who cared to see how it would work in the school play.
When CBS executives saw the final product, they were horrified. They believed the special would be a complete flop. CBS programmers were equally pessimistic, informing the production team, “We will, of course, air it next week, but I’m afraid we won’t be ordering any more.”
The half-hour special aired on Thursday, December 9, 1965, preempting The Munsters and following Gilligan’s Island. To the surprise of the executives, 50 percent of the televisions in the United States tuned in to the first broadcast. The cartoon was a critical and commercial hit; it won an Emmy and a Peabody award.

Mark Steyn:

The advantage the United States enjoys is that, unlike Greece, it can print the currency in which its debt is denominated. But, even so, it still needs someone to buy it. The failure of Germany’s bond auction on Wednesday suggests that the world is running out of buyers for Western sovereign debt at historically low interest rates. And, were interest rates to return to their 1990–2010 average (5.7 percent), debt service alone would consume about 40 percent of federal revenues by mid-decade. That’s not paying down the debt, but just staying current on the interest payments.
And yet, when it comes to spending and stimulus and entitlements and agencies and regulations and bureaucrats, “More more more / How do you like it?” remains the way to bet. Will a Republican president make a difference to this grim trajectory? I would doubt it. Unless the public conversation shifts significantly, neither President Romney nor President Insert-Name-of-This-Week’s-UnRomney-Here will have a mandate for the measures necessary to save the republic.

Light Shines From Above On Fallen Soilders Dog,Hero

From ABC News:

Sometimes when Rhonda hugged Hero she would softly pet her face and coo, “Justin, are you in there?”  It was Rhonda’s gentle way of remembering their son and his last living connection to Hero. At one point, Hero wandered off and took a stroll in the backyard. All of a sudden, the clouds broke and a light began to solidify in a beam directly down on Hero — a kind of vertical halo.
I do not believe that their son inhabits,Hero, but I do believe Hero is a gift from God to comfort them over the loss of their son.

Larry Munson,A "Dawgs" Best Friend Has Past Away

A legend has past:
Today, however, the Bulldog Nation is in mourning. For the gravely voice of Larry Munson, who passionately implored his beloved team to “hunker down” in the face of adversity, has been silenced. Munson, who became the voice of the Bulldogs in 1966 and will be its passion eternally, died Sunday at the age of 89.
“If you ask the average Georgia fan who best represents the spirit of Georgia football, it wouldn’t be a player or a coach,” former Georgia quarterback (1973-76) and head coach (1989-95) Ray Goff said. “It would be Larry Munson. He cared about Georgia and our fans loved him for it. There will never be another one like him.”
I have spent a many Saturdays in the Fall with Larry, rooting the "Dawgs" on,worrying over the outcome of the game with him, mourning loses, and celebrating victorys.Larry Munson is just as much an institution at Georgia as,Uga or Hershel Walker.Georgia wouldn't  be the same without them.

Larry Munson cannot be described,he must be expierenced.Rest in peace,Larry, you will be missed.

Ann Barnhardt Is Calling It Quits

Ann Barnhardt:

Dear Clients, Industry Colleagues and Friends of Barnhardt Capital Management,

It is with regret and unflinching moral certainty that I announce that Barnhardt Capital Management has ceased operations. After six years of operating as an independent introducing brokerage, and eight years of employment as a broker before that, I found myself, this morning, for the first time since I was 20 years old, watching the futures and options markets open not as a participant, but as a mere spectator.
The reason for my decision to pull the plug was excruciatingly simple: I could no longer tell my clients that their monies and positions were safe in the futures and options markets – because they are not. And this goes not just for my clients, but for every futures and options account in the United States. The entire system has been utterly destroyed by the MF Global collapse. Given this sad reality, I could not in good conscience take one more step as a commodity broker, soliciting trades that I knew were unsafe or holding funds that I knew to be in jeopardy.
The futures markets are very highly-leveraged and thus require an exceptionally firm base upon which to function. That base was the sacrosanct segregation of customer funds from clearing firm capital, with additional emergency financial backing provided by the exchanges themselves. Up until a few weeks ago, that base existed, and had worked flawlessly. Firms came and went, with some imploding in spectacular fashion. Whenever a firm failure happened, the customer funds were intact and the exchanges would step in to backstop everything and keep customers 100% liquid – even as their clearing firm collapsed and was quickly replaced by another firm within the system.
Everything changed just a few short weeks ago. A firm, led by a crony of the Obama regime, stole all of the non-margined cash held by customers of his firm. Let’s not sugar-coat this or make this crime seem “complex” and “abstract” by drowning ourselves in six-dollar words and uber-technical jargon. Jon Corzine STOLE the customer cash at MF Global. Knowing Jon Corzine, and knowing the abject lawlessness and contempt for humanity of the Marxist Obama regime and its cronies, this is not really a surprise. What was a surprise was the reaction of the exchanges and regulators. Their reaction has been to take a bad situation and make it orders of magnitude worse. Specifically, they froze customers out of their accounts WHILE THE MARKETS CONTINUED TO TRADE, refusing to even allow them to liquidate. This is unfathomable. The risk exposure precedent that has been set is completely intolerable and has destroyed the entire industry paradigm. No informed person can continue to engage these markets, and no moral person can continue to broker or facilitate customer engagement in what is now a massive game of Russian Roulette.
I have learned over the last week that MF Global is almost certainly the mere tip of the iceberg. There is massive industry-wide exposure to European sovereign junk debt. While other firms may not be as heavily leveraged as Corzine had MFG leveraged, and it is now thought that MFG’s leverage may have been in excess of 100:1, they are still suicidally leveraged and will likely stand massive, unmeetable collateral calls in the coming days and weeks as Europe inevitably collapses. I now suspect that the reason the Chicago Mercantile Exchange did not immediately step in to backstop the MFG implosion was because they knew and know that if they backstopped MFG, they would then be expected to backstop all of the other firms in the system when the failures began to cascade – and there simply isn’t that much money in the entire system. In short, the problem is a SYSTEMIC problem, not merely isolated to one firm.

'Occupy Wall Street Were Stockpiling Weapons'

An armed mob:
Deputy Mayor Cas Holloway filed a motion on behalf of the city today opposing a court order requiring the NYPD to allow Occupy Wall Street demonstrators back into Zuccotti Park. In filing the motion, Holloway asserted that "people who have a known history of violent interaction with the police” have been gathering in the park, and “makeshift items” that he said could be used as weapons, "such as cardboard tubes with metal pipes inside, had been observed among the occupiers' possessions." He also noted that after the October 1st Brooklyn Bridge march, "knives, mace and hypodermic needles were observed discarded on the roadway."
"It was our understanding that the protesters may have had a significant number of items that could potentially be used as weapons," Halloway writes in the motion, adding that there had been little to no crime in Zuccotti Park before the occupation began, but since there had been "73 misdemeanor and felony complaints" and about 50 arrests. Although the initial order to vacate (see below) promised demonstrators they would be allowed in—though without tents and sleeping bags—Bloomberg is now refusing to comply with the court order, and the park remains closed. A growing throng of demonstrators have gathered around it.
As we move closer to the general election next year and the more it looks like Chairman Obama will be defeated in that election, the left will become more and more violent, our cities will become a burning, smoking, battlefield.

The Myth Of Gun Control

Gun free zones are unsafe zones, period.Only law abiding citizens obey the law.The criminal element in society by their very nature do not obey the law.Gun control laws only infringe on your right to protect yourself and fail miserably to stop crime.

Why Penn State Desrves The Death Penatly?

This 1 sentence from, the Grand Jury Report on Jerry Sandusky, explains why Penn St.'s football program needs to be shut down, maybe its whole athletic department:
Nor was their any attempt to investigate,to identify Victim 2 or to protect that child or any others from similar conduct, except as related to preventing its reoccurence on University property.

'Worse Than Sodom or Gomorrah'

Ann Barnhardt:

. . . because I'm absolutely convinced that this culture, right now, today, is WORSE than Sodom or Gomorrah ever were. Sodom would be a step up.
It is now all over the internet that Sandusky was running a high-dollar pedophile ring, and that "Second Mile" was merely a front and means of recruiting and enslaving young boys who were then pimped to wealthy Penn State donors for sex.
Penn State should be shut down. Not just the football program - the entire university. Shut it down immediately. Any student of Penn State with any sense should be making arrangements to transfer to another university, because graduating from Penn State would necessitate that said person list Penn State on their resume, which will now be a major, major strike against that person. Why? Because they knowingly entered and subsidized a cult that worshiped an old man who "coached" a football team. And, as it turns out, that old man facilitated and enabled a massive pedophile ring. Further, said students, even after learning of this and seeing that "old man" fired, RIOTED last night IN SUPPORT OF THE CULT LEADER / PEDOPHILE RING ENABLER.
TIMELINE:
1998: Sandusky is investigated for an incident involving himself sexually assaulting a young boy in the Penn State showers. Child Protective Services investigate. The university is fully notified.
1999: Sandusky, age 55, is suddenly forced into retirement at his prime, when all previous indications were that he was the heir-apparent to Paterno, who was 72 years old at the time. The retirement package is now thought to have been in exchange for Penn State covering up Sandusky's pedophilia. Sandusky's pedophilia is being called a "poorly kept secret" in the world of Division I football, which explains why one of the top coaches in the nation was not even offered any other position after Penn State.
2000: Despite being retired from Penn State and no longer being in the employment of Penn State or Paterno, Sandusky has unfettered access to the Penn State facilities and travels with the team. In the fall of 2000 a janitor catches Sandusky orally raping a young boy in the football team's showers after hours. Sandusky OBVIOUSLY had keys and passcards which gave him full access despite being no longer "employed" by PSU or Paterno.
2002: Sandusky is caught AGAIN in the showers, this time anally raping a young boy, and is caught by Mike McQueary, who is now an assistant coach. Sandusky STILL has keys and passcards to PSU facilities.
2009: Grand jury investigation begins after a 15 year old boy reported Sandusky to police. Penn State top brass, including Paterno, are called to testify. Sandusky is still seen using PSU football facilities.
Week of 10/30-11/5, 2011: Sandusky is seen working out in a PSU football weight room.
They all knew. Not only that, but Sandusky felt "safe" using the PSU football facilities and showers as his rape room, and was indeed caught repeatedly with zero consequences. Think about that. Sandusky was CAUGHT red handed in the showers sexually assaulting boys in 1998 and 2000, and there was even an investigation as a result of the 1998 incident, and yet Sandusky still felt so "safe" at PSU that he continued to bring boys there to be raped. He continued to hang around the team and be seen in the near-constant company of young boys. Sandusky's confidence is extremely telling.
Penn State should be shut down, and anyone who knew about this should be facing down multi-decade prison sentences. Paterno should die in prison.
Pedophiles should be executed. Justice, in charity, demands it. Find every single participant in the "Second Mile" pedophile ring and let justice be done swiftly upon him.

This just gets worser by the day.

Was J. Edgar Hoover A Homosexual?

Was Hoover a homo?:
This allegation is so old, so singular, and so meritless it ought not bear discussion. Yet repetition lends reliability and many fools believe it to be true.
Claims of Hoover’s homosexuality originated with one Susan Rosenstiel, who stated she witnessed the director in, of all places, The Plaza Hotel in New York City twice during the 1950s wearing women’s clothing. She went on to assert she saw him doing this at what she described as “homosexual orgies” (raising the question why any woman would be present).
No doubt there was already a willingness to propagate the most licentious fabrications about the director, as many factions bore him ill will. There is also the fact that neither he nor his top aide Clyde Tolson ever married. Yet this speaks more toward the extreme dedication to duty of an earlier age than it does of sexuality. Hoover was also romantically involved with actress
Dorothy Lamour over a period of years and was involved later with actress Ginger Rogers’s mother.
In examining the tale’s veracity, one should look less at the director and more at Ms. Rosenstiel. She served time at Rikers Island jail for, of all things, perjury on the stand and lying under oath. As if more proof is needed, Rosenstiel did not volunteer this salacious story but was paid to tell it. The singular allegation was never substantiated by anyone at any time or anywhere. When the Soviet
KGB archives were unsealed it was learned that they, his erstwhile enemies, had attempted to propagate such a claim.
Worst of all is that Hollywood uses these fallacious allegations of homosexuality as a weapon. The exact people who claim to embrace all aspects of sexuality are the very ones frequently hurling accusations of homosexuality as ridicule. They plead they do so only to unnerve the object of their scorn, yet such proclamations of an “outing” (however false) are hyper-hypocritical. One cannot esteem something one simultaneously uses as a bludgeon. In this,
Hollywood ought to be ashamed.
So who was J. Edgar Hoover, Director of the FBI?
A man dedicated to his office and to the country he served. A man who foresaw the hidden and disguised menaces to true freedom we have been seduced into venerating by our willful ignorance of their
actual nature. A man who was everything the West once revered but now reviles because it cannot produce men one-tenth so stalwart.J. Edgar Hoover was nothing less than a genuine American hero, and that is why Hollywood must destroy him at all costs.
J. Edgar Hoover kept this country safe from its enemies, both foreign and domestic, for almost 50 years.I firmly believe if a man of his caliber was FBI director in 2001 and before,9-11 would not have happen on his watch. He was homeland security before we turned it into a bureaucracy.

The left hated and still hates this man because he exposed them for who and what they really are,anti-American socialist and communist. They couldn't destroy him while he lived -like they did McCarthy- so they are hell bent on destroying his reputation now.

'Obama Unbound'

Victor Davis Hanson
If we get to the scary point of Iran’s going nuclear in 2012, expect the Obama administration — up for reelection and without much of a domestic record to run on in these hard times — to consider a preemptive strike. Be assured that if it does, there will be no outrage in the Democrat-controlled Senate, no campuses on fire, no ad hominem Moveon.org ads in the New York Times — all the sorts of anti-war hysteria that once sought to turn a moderate like George W. Bush into a caricature of some trigger-happy yokel from shoot-’em-up Texas.
Obama is desperate and will do anything to get reelected.Sometime between now and election day next year Obama will bomb Iran to boost his sagging approval numbers.

How Obama Stole Christmas:Update:Obama To "Delay' Christmas Tree Fee

This beats all:
To pay for the new Federal Christmas tree image improvement and marketing program, the Department of Agriculture imposed a 15-cent fee on all sales of fresh Christmas trees by sellers of more than 500 trees per year (7 CFR 1214.52).  And, of course, the Christmas tree sellers are free to pass along the 15-cent Federal fee to consumers who buy their Christmas trees.
Wow!I didn't know Christmas trees had a poor image to improve, nor did I know that Christmas trees needed to be marketed. This is just asinine.

Update: Obama administration is going to delay its implememtation of its 15 cent fee on fresh-cut Christmas trees.Has Teh Ones heart grown 3 sizes too big?Nah!He will find a way to tax them just yet.

'From Sandusky And This Nation Of Cowards'

Via Ann Barnhardt:
I read the grand jury report on Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky and couldn't believe what I was reading. I'm not going to link to it because it is awful. If you want to read it you can find it yourself. It wasn't the fact that Sandusky was a pedophile that was so shocking. We all know about the horror of pedophilia and that it exists in the world. No, what really shook me were the actions of the people around Sandusky - and two of those people in particular.

One was a 28 year old (at the time) graduate assistant in the Penn State football program. He testified before the grand jury, and the grand jury found him to be "extremely credible". This grad assistant testified that he literally walked in on Sandusky anally raping a ten year old boy in the Penn State football locker room showers. Right in the middle of the act itself. He even testified that both Sandusky and the child turned and looked at him - in the middle of the rape act.

What did this grad assistant do? He ran away. He ran away from a child in the midst of being raped. The next day he went to Joe Paterno's house and told Joe Paterno what he saw. In this we have the proof that Joe Paterno KNEW what Sandusky was, and he basically let it slide. For this, Joe Paterno deserves not only to lose his job, but he also deserves to spend some time in prison. Aw, but he's a kind old man. That may be. But that "kind old man" let a man whom he KNEW to be a child rapist have the run of his football facility until JUST LAST WEEK.

What should Joe Paterno have done, you may ask? Well, let's look to history. Have you ever noticed, or thought it strange, that there is no significant mention of child rapists in the courts or prisons in Western Civilization up until about 100 years ago? Why do you think this is? Is it because sex crimes against children are a recent invention? No. The difference is that up until recently, society was healthy enough that it was able to police itself when necessary. When men were caught, and I mean CAUGHT IN THE ACT, like Sandusky, of raping a child, justice was carried out almost instantaneously. There was no need to involve the courts and humiliate and further traumatize the poor child. The crime was eyewitnessed, and the penalty was an absolute given. And so, the men of the community would discreetly either shoot or hang the pedophile. And it was over. The child could move on, and the men in the community moved on secure in the knowledge that the pedophile would never harm another child, with most of the community remaining unscandalized having known nothing about it, and the pedophile, knowing that he was about to die, was also afforded the mercy of the knowledge and understanding of the urgent need for his repentance and to earnestly beg God's forgiveness before he died. This was, by far, the best possible outcome for all concerned.

But what do we do today? Apparently, most people do nothing. They are too narcissistic, too greedy, and too cowardly to act, even if it means to save a child who is being raped. Joe Paterno was more concerned with his reputation and Penn State's reputation, and so he watered down Sandusky's crime to mere "horseplay" and let it slide. Joe Paterno spent YEARS sitting in meetings, palling around, back-slapping, glad-handing and socializing with a man he KNEW to be a child rapist. He didn't even call the police. The mind reels. And I'll say it again: Paterno should spend some time in prison, as should anyone who aids and abets a pedophile.

Now back to the grad assistant. He wasn't alone. There was another instance in exactly the same showers when a janitor walked in on Sandusky orally raping another young boy of about 11 years of age. This janitor was so shaken by the grotesquery of what he had seen, even remarking to his co-workers that it was far worse than the intense combat carnage he saw in Vietnam, that his co-workers thought the man was going to have a heart attack. But again, what did the janitor do upon catching Sandusky? He RAN AWAY. He didn't try to stop any of it. He just ran.

And this is a microcosm of the problem with our culture and why it is collapsing. There is evil in the world, and up until recently, we Christians had the strength and moral authority to not just confront evil, but to literally run at it in a full battle charge when we came across it. That is what we are supposed to do. Those men should have each rushed Sandusky and then either beat him into unconsciousness or broken his arms and legs, thus immobilizing him. They should have then covered and secured the child, and then called 911. But these men were so cowed by their own self-absorption, with both admitting to have feared for their respective positions at the time, that they literally ran away from a child in the midst of being brutally raped.

This is a sick and yet pristine allegory for what is happening to this culture on a macro scale today. We SEE what those "in power", like Sandusky, are doing. We keep catching them in flagrante dilecto and are so overcome with fear, so far removed from Christ and His strength, that we do NOTHING. We slink away into the shadows of self-preservation. And more children are slaughtered. And more Mexican civilians are killed. And more money is stolen. And more mosques are built.

And so, to finish out the allegory, I am the janitor who came around that corner and saw the child being raped, and instead of running away and keeping my job, I bayonet-charged the rapist like a mercenary honey badger. There is no guarantee that I will be successful. My enemies are now simultaneously the Obama regime and the entire muslim death cult.

BUT, can you IMAGINE how those two boys felt when they saw a man there who could save them, and then seeing that man run away? The wound from that might have been worse than the wound from Sandusky himself. Those boys knew Sandusky was a pervert. What must have been hell for them was trying to figure out why the men who COULD have saved them, didn't. Being abandoned is far, far worse than being violently attacked. You can get your head around being violently attacked - the violent attacker wants something from you. Abandonment simply says, "You're not worth it." Even if those men had just stood there and screamed at Sandusky, at least those boys would have known that someone gave a crap about them.

I guess you could say that what I'm doing between my private war against islam and my tax strike is trying to leave a record that someone actually gave a crap.

Sorry to have conceitedly worked myself into the allegory, but the "put yourself in those shoes" lesson about cowardice jumped out at me as being very instructive. Pray for Sandusky's victims, which as of this writing are now numbered at over twenty boys. There will likely be more, as Sandusky was a stone-cold predator who had plenty of people "throwing blocks" for him.
What has happened at Penn St.is sick and disgusting.I agree with Ann,Joe Paterno and everyone who knew about this and did nothing should serve some jail time, period.Their is absolutely NO EXCUSE for not stopping this monster.

I would also include the the Penn St. football program as well and give it the "death penalty."The NCAA ended SMU's football program for basically paying players to play football.Penn St. deserves nothing less than for harboring a pedophile.Every win and title should be stripped from the program and "Joe Pa's" record should be winnless.

NBC's David Gregory: No "Grand Wizard" In The GOP To "Force" Cain Out

Via Real Clear Politics:

On Wednesday's "Today" show, host of NBC's "Meet the Press" David Gregory says there is no "Grand Wizard" right now in the GOP to "force" Cain out of the primary. Transcript below:

Ann Curry, NBC News: "He's not stepping down, continuing to suck the air out of the narrative the Republican party really wants to tell. Does the party now wish he would just go away?"

David Gregory, NBC News: "Well there is no, you know, Grand Wizard in the party right now who can really force the issue. I've talked to Cain's advisers in Iowa, they think their support is still strong there, that it's not falling. There may be cracks in the foundation according to pollsters I'm talking to, that his numbers may be starting to shift but right now core support remains there."
Mr. Gregory is confused.Sen. Robert Byrd was Democrat, not a Republican.

They are no bigger racists than liberals.

Occupy Sacramento Boot Homeless From Local Park

Its not just Wall Street the Occupy crowd want to give the jackboot to :
As the Occupy Sacramento movement settles in for another night inside Cesar Chavez Park, another group sits, watches and wonders if they’ll ever get what they call “their park” back.
“These homeless people have been out here alot longer than you have,” one homeless person tells CBS13.
For years this plaza in the heart of Sacramento has been a homeless hide-away. But some just want the Occupy group to go away:
“I just wish they’d give us our park back,” one homeless woman says.
She’s one of dozens of homeless who’ve signed a petition:
Part of the problem, some homeless argue, they feel they’ve lost their freedom.
“They got their own security, they act like the police,” one man tells Lopez. “Anytime you do anything they say you can’t do this and that … and we’re saying ‘you’re not the police.’”
You know,if the homeless can figure out what the Occupiers are all about -the loss of freedom- why can't some of us?

Open Mike At The G20 Summit

What I find disturbing about this,is not that President Obama and the French president,Sarkozy, were found to be gossiping like 2 teenage girls at the school dance, about the girl in school they don't like. That's par for the course for Obama. He is a petty and small minded individual, who is threatened by anyone who may challenge him.

What I find disturbing is this:

The surprising lack of coverage may be explained by a report alleging that journalists present at the event were requested to sign an agreement to keep mum on the embarrassing comments. A Reuters reporter was among the journalists present and can confirm the veracity of the comments.

A member of the media confirmed Monday that "there were discussions between journalists and they agreed not to publish the comments due to the sensitivity of the issue."

He added that while it was annoying to have to refrain from publishing the information, the journalists are subject to precise rules of conduct.
A free press is essential to a free society. While a non-partisan media is a myth,a press that functions independently of the government is a must.

Thats not what we have here. What we have here is a press that can only publish what the G20 approves.Thats not news, thats propaganda.

Happy 93rd Birthday Billy Graham

We are all truly blessed for your faithfulness to the message of the Cross.God bless you,Billy Graham.

While Obama Crowed,Al-Qaeda Got Away

Via FOX NEWS:

US NAVY Seals have revealed for the first time that they killed Osama Bin Laden within 90 seconds of entering his fortress-like home in Pakistan.

The men who killed the al-Qaeda chief have decided to speak out because they are tired of their "shabby treatment" by politicians who claim they were on a "kill mission."

They insisted there was no lengthy gun-fight in the compound and claimed they would have captured Bin Laden if he had surrendered, The Sunday Times in the UK reports (behind a paywall).

They were not on a "kill mission", they said, and fired only 12 bullets in the entire operation.

The details of the mission, which was codenamed Operation Neptune’s Spear, are revealed in a book by the Seals' former commander, Chuck Pfarrer.

"I've been a Seal for 30 years and I never heard the words 'kill mission'. It's a fantasy word. If it was a kill mission you don’t need Seal Team 6; you need a box of hand grenades."

He said the men were angry with President Barack Obama for announcing Bin Laden’s death on TV just hours after they completed the mission on May 1.

"There isn't a politician in the world who could resist trying to take credit for getting Bin Laden but it devalued the 'intel' and gave time for every other Al-Qaeda leader to scurry to another bolthole," he said.

"The men who did this and their valorous act deserve better. It's a pretty shabby way to treat these guys."

We were regaled over and over again by administration insiders after another,on how "tough" and difficult a decision it was for Obama to give the OK to get Bin-Laden.Now we find out if Obama would have just sat on the information, just for a little while,we may have been able to bag more than just Bin-Laden,maybe Al-Qaeda's command as well. The real tough decision would have been to keep quiet and let our forces finish their job,but like a rooster at the break of dawn, our ego-manic CINC had to go and spill the beans.

Hat tip to Atlas Shrugs.

Is Mitt Romney 2012's Hillary Clinton?

From The Hill:
“The Romney campaign wishes it had as much of an air of inevitability as Hillary did four years ago,” GOP strategist Keith Appell told The Hill. “The healthcare issue is a symptom of a greater concern: He has been on so many sides of so many issues so recently — and it’s all available on video.”
Even those less overtly critical of Romney than Appell find the Clinton example instructive.
“Voters are so skeptical of all things political these days that they put a huge premium on authenticity,” said Republican strategist Mark McKinnon. “Hillary Clinton had an authenticity problem and so does Mitt Romney.”
I would also compare Mr. Romney to Barack Obama.Their is unwillingness by the MSM to vet and question Mitt Romney on his many flip flops, the same way they ignored Obama's past ties to socialists and radicals, like Bill Ayers.

But rest assured, come the General Election next year, the MSM will take off their kid gloves and turn on good ole Mitt, the same way they did their darling John McCain in 2008.

'Sarah Palin Nails OWS Hypocrisy'

Via Free North Carolina:
At a Republican meeting not far from here, Sarah Palin nailed the difference between the Tea Party and the Occupy Whatever crowds. While we all may agree that the bailouts were wrong, and we should end the fed, as some occupiers seem to protest, my answer is make the government so small and impotent they can't give bailouts. OWS says "give me the money instead of them".

"They say 'Wall Street fat cats got a bailout so now I want one too.' And the correct answer is no one is entitled to a bailout," Palin told the crowd of about 1,000 at the Republican Party of Florida dinner. "The American dream, our foundation, is about work ethic and empowerment, not entitlement."

She compared the protesters and President Barack Obama to the "crony capitalists" they say they oppose.

"Barack Obama is owned by Wall Street [see here - Graybeard]. The fat cats, as he calls them, they're his friends. They're his pals. That's where he gets his campaign donations. And he's very generous about giving these cats their cat nip — bigger returns on their investments in bailouts," Palin said.

She went on to try and convince OWS that they need to be protesting Washington, where the policies they claim to oppose come from. Fat chance.
She is spot on as usual. It would have been nice if candidate Sarah Palin had made those remarks, but alas it was not to be.

Who Are The Top 1%?

Thomas Sowell:
As for the “top 1 percent” in income that attract so much attention, angst, and denunciation, there is always going to be a top 1 percent, unless everybody has the same income. That top 1 percent has no more monopoly on sainthood or villainy than people in any other bracket.

Nor does that top 1 percent consist of the “millionaires and billionaires” that Barack Obama talks about. You don’t even have to make half a million dollars to be in the top 1 percent.
Moreover, this is not an enduring class of people. Nor are people in other income brackets predetermined to stay there. Most of the people in the top 1 percent at any given time are there for only one year. Anyone who sells an average home in San Francisco can get into the top 1 percent in income — for that year. Other one-time spikes in income account for most of the people in that top 1 percent.
But such plain facts carry little weight amid the heady rhetoric and mindless emotions of the mob and the media.

'When The Government Passes Out Money They Tend To Pass It Out To Their Friends And Cronies'

The problem isn't whether the government favors its friends and supporters, that is human nature and we all do it.No the problem is that the government shouldn't be making these loans to begin with, that's what banks are for,and it needs to stop now.

Sheriff Time For Citizens To Arm Themselves

Amen,Amen,and Amen!!!

I have said it before and I will say it again, the only people that gun control laws restrict is law abiding citizens. The criminal element in our communities are by their very nature unaffected by any law, much less a law banning them from owning a firearm.

Gaddafi Is Dead,Obama Has Declared Victory,And Al-Qaeda's Flag Flies Over Libya

This is what Obama's victory in Libya looks like:
The flag, complete with Arabic script reading "there is no God but Allah" and full moon underneath, was seen flying above the Benghazi courthouse building, considered to be the seat of the revolution, according to the news website Vice.com.
The flag was said to be flying over the building alongside the Libyan national flag but the National Transitional Council has denied that it was responsible.
Vice.com also reported that Islamists had been seen driving around the city's streets, waving the Al Qaeda flag from their cars and shouting "Islamiya, Islamiya! No East, nor West".
The revelation came just days after it emerged that rebels in Libya have imposed Sharia law in the some parts of country since seizing power.
Mustafa Abdul-Jalil, chairman of the National Transitional Council, said Islamic Sharia law would be the "basic source" of legislation in free Libya.
I think in the coming years we will long for the days of "Wacky Gadafi",versus these new guys in the "New Libya."
