Could We Be Heading Towards World War III In Syria?

Iran, Syria, Russia and China are planning the “biggest-ever wargames in the Middle East,” according to an unconfirmed report on the semi-official Iranian news site Fars News.

According to the article, the four countries are preparing 90,000 troops, 400 aircraft and 1,000 tanks for the massive joint maneuvers, which are to take place along the Syrian coast within a month.

The report states that Russian “atomic submarines and warships, aircraft carriers and mine-clearing destroyers as well as Iranian battleships and submarines will also arrive in Syria” and that Egypt has agreed to let 12 Chinese warships cross the Suez Canal for the exercises.

This isn't a wargames exercise.This is a line of demarcation against the 'regieme change' foreign policy that this country has now adopted.This is a stand against this new British style colonialism were we seek to make the world America.They are not having it any longer.

U.S. Presses South Korea To Reduce Oil Imports From Iran:

Washington is trying to curtail Iran’s oil exports, its main revenue source, and isolate the central bank. Delegations from the State, Energy and Treasury Departments are fanning out to Iran’s major customers, as well as to rival oil producers, to enlist their help in stifling Iran’s oil exports while making up any gap in supplies.
South Korea, a crucial American ally, voiced support for Washington’s efforts to check Iran’s nuclear program. Seoul depends on the United States for its defense against North Korea and works together with Washington to curb the North’s nuclear weapons program. American officials believe that a successful crackdown on Iran’s nuclear program could help curb North Korea’s.
But leaders of South Korea, which depends on imported oil, fear a sudden reduction in purchases from Iran might disrupt South Korea’s energy security and raise oil prices. Fighting inflation is President Lee Myung-bak’s key policy promise for 2012.
Seoul has yet to announce whether and by how much it might reduce its oil imports from Iran.

Our leadership in Washington is blind.They cannot see the big picture.As we seek to "curtail Iran's oil exports,"we should be increasing our own oil production and exports to supplant theirs and over take it.It would not only put a crimp in Iran's own source of revenue,but would give a much needed boost to our own economy.But,alas we can't see the forest for the carriboo.

We must abandon the mirages, to which Obama still clings, that Iran might negotiate an acceptable "solution" to its nuclear weapons program, or merely that economic sanctions will somehow force Iran to negotiate. Even a threatened attack on our soil, which could have killed hundreds of Americans, has not been enough to spur Obama into decisive action.
The unpleasant reality is that the only alternative to a nuclear Iran is to break Tehran's program through the targeted use of military force, either by Israel, the United States or both. This is, to be sure, a risky, unpleasant and unattractive option. It is, nonetheless, far preferable to the only existing – and rapidly approaching – alternative, which is Iran with nuclear weapons. Although unwilling to say so publicly, Saudi Arabia and other Arab states have long privately hoped for leveling Iran's nuclear program. With the Iranian assassination plot now public, they might even smile publicly.

Iran Scolded By Al-Qaidi

Al-Qaida has sent a message to the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, asking him to stop spreading conspiracy theories about the 9/11 attacks.

Iranian media on Wednesday reported quotes from what appears to be an article published in the latest issue of the al-Qaida English language magazine, Inspire, which described Ahmadinejad's remarks over the 11 September attacks as "ridiculous".
In his UN general assembly speech last week, Ahmadinejad cast doubt over the official version of the 2001 attacks.

"The Iranian government has professed on the tongue of its president Ahmadinejad that it does not believe that al-Qaida was behind 9/11 but rather, the US government," the article said, according to Iranian media. "So we may ask the question: why would Iran ascribe to such a ridiculous belief that stands in the face of all logic and evidence?"
