On this day 67 years ago the Allies landed on the beaches of Normandy and began the liberation of France and Europe from Nazi Germany.God bless all the men who took part in Operation Overlord.To those who are still with us and to those who have passed away and most importantly those who remain there today as silent guardians of liberty,thank you for your service and your bravery,you saved the world from tyranny.
