Not Wanting To Be The Disestablishment

From Jonah Goldberg:
If the folks running the party want the tea partiers to support their preferred candidates — when they’re the nominee, at least — it should work the other way around as well. It now appears that Cuccinelli, a flawed candidate running against an even more flawed human being, could have pulled this thing out if he’d had more help at the end.

What Jonah and others fail to realize is,that 'the GOP establishment' would very well rather have McAuliffe or any other liberal Democrat elected to office than a real conservative,'Tea Partier',or libertarian Republican. 'The establishment' knows full well the day that the 'Tea Party',or any other freedom loving candidates gain a majority in the GOP,they will go from being the establishment to being the disestablishment.

Whose Land Is It ?

I haven't blogged in awhile but I thought I would share my thoughts on this.

From Legal Insurrection:
As bad as the Battle of the Barrycades is in Washington, D.C., forcing WWII Vets to have to push their way past barricades at the WWII Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, and Iwo Jima Memorial, what the feds did at Mount Rushmore has to be the most petty and insane of them all.
The feds didn’t just shut the access roads — even though the state offered to pay to keep them open — it erected cones along a viewing road in the distance to prevent people from pulling over to view the presidential monument.

Here is a thought for the people of South Dakota and the other 49 sovereign states in the union, maybe its time to evict the federal government and take back your property.

'Gun Use By Citizens Infographic'

From The republican Mother:

The Brutal And Bloody Reality Of Roe v. Wade

Jillian Kay Melchior:
Sycloria Williams was recovering from a botched abortion at her Pompano, Fla., home on July 21, 2006, when two homicide detectives knocked on her door. They asked if she knew why they were there. “Yes,” Williams said immediately. “Because the baby was born alive.”1
It took investigators one week and three separate searches to find the corpse of Williams’s infant, which was hidden away in the abortion clinic in Hialeah, Fla.2 It was a tiny black girl, only 25.5 centimeters from head to toe, born prematurely on July 20. Her body was badly decomposed, discolored and infested with maggots, but the autopsy report and an expert physician’s review both suggested she had drawn breath on her own before she died.3
The body had been hidden, according to a tip received by the police, on the roof4 or perhaps in the dropped ceiling of the abortion clinic,5 then later in a biohazard bag within a medical-waste box in the malodorous recovery room.6 Florida’s Department of Health later alleged that Williams’s doctor had “falsified [her] medical records in an apparent effort to conceal his errors and the true events of July 20, 2006.”7
Those “true events” — the alleged murder of an infant who was not supposed to be born alive — turned out to be harder to sort out than anyone expected, and the conclusion also proved hazy. In the end, no one was successfully held responsible for the infant’s death in either criminal or civil court, despite efforts at prosecution.
The sensational case of Philadelphia doctor Kermit Gosnell, which finally gained coverage from the reluctant media, has revealed the ugly operations of an abortion clinic where live-born babies were allegedly murdered, their spines snipped with scissors, and where women received abortions in horrifyingly unsanitary conditions. Many sustained internal injuries; one woman even died, drugged up on cheap Demerol.
The Gosnell case prompts the question of how common similar practices are. A National Review investigation revealed the troubling history of three Florida abortion clinics, located in Miami, Hialeah, and Miramar, that have had several run-ins with the law. After a 2004 tip proved accurate, two owners and two staff members were successfully prosecuted for unlicensed medical practice; and, although there was no conviction, it appears that Sycloria Williams’s baby was born alive and murdered at the Hialeah clinic in 2006. Furthermore, some of the clinics’ doctors have records best described as routine medical violence against women. Yet despite their fraught past, the three clinics remain fully operational today. And they are a critical but often-neglected part of the picture of abortion in America.

This is the conversation the left doesn't want to have concerning abortion. They don't want to talk about the severed limbs of the unborn. They don't want to talk about the unborn child having a heart beat. They don't want to talk about the child struggling to breath,as it just having been ripped from its mother's womb in a abortion. No,they would rather discuss the whole matter in the nice and sterile abstract of choice and the right to privacy.Never will they discuss abortion in its bloody reality.

'Justice Department To Monitor South Carolina Congressional Election'

From Reuters:
The Justice Department said in a statement it was monitoring the election under provisions of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. The law bars election discrimination on the basis of race, color or membership in a minority language group.

The department did not give a reason for the monitoring. Tuesday's vote will take place under South Carolina's new law mandating photo identification for voters, and Justice Department monitors observed primary elections.

I wish to God,the State of South Carolina would stand up to the DOJ and say,"we are not a 3rd world dictatorship. We are a sovereign state and Hell No,you can not come and monitor our elections for no particular reason!!!!!!"

'Cultural Terrorism' In Atlanta,Georgia

From 11 Alive:
......... an Atlanta man wants the Confederate Memorial relief on Stone Mountain removed.

"It's almost like a black eye or an embarrassing smudge on our culture," McCartney Forde told 11Alive News on Monday.
That's how Forde feels about the 2 football field-wide carving of Confederate President Jefferson Davis and Generals Robert E. Lee and "Stonewall" Jackson that towers 400 feet above the mountain's base.
When the Taliban in Afghanistan destroyed the Bamiyan Buddhas it was described as 'cultural terrorism'.This is nothing more than the same thing than what the Taliban did.Its an attempt to purge, mine and others,Southern Heritage from off the face of the Earth, all to conform to the Political Correct narrative that the progressives have foisted upon us.The real haters are on the left.

Hat tip to Free North Carolina.

Terrorism And Food Stamps

From the Boston Herald:
The Tsarnaev family, including the suspected terrorists and their parents, benefited from more than $100,000 in taxpayer-funded assistance — a bonanza ranging from cash and food stamps to Section 8 housing from 2002 to 2012, the Herald has learned.

“The breadth of the benefits the family was receiving was stunning,” said a person with knowledge of documents handed over to a legislative committee today.

Everyone has wondered whether their was another accomplice in the Boston Marathon bombings, there was,the Welfare State. The state of Massachusetts and the Federal government gave aid and comfort to our enemy, while they plotted to attack our country.

Global Warming Is A Good Thing

From The Daily Caller:

Steam engineer and amateur scientist Guy Stewart Callendar, who first theorized a link between global warming and carbon dioxide emissions 75 years ago, believed that global warming would be a boon to mankind.
“Callendar, who died in 1964, aged 66, thought global warming was good because it would stop what he called ‘deadly glaciers’ returning and could boost the growth of crops at high latitude,” The BBC reports.
Callendar’s claim may not be that far off. For example, Reuters reported that Greenland residents are able to grow crops they previously couldn’t because of longer, warmer summers. Thawing ice sheets have also spurred increased mining and oil exploration.
I've been saying for awhile now, that global warming,if true, would be a very good thing for humanity.Ice ages are the real danger to mankind!

Another Terrorist Attack And The Answer Is A Loss Of More Freedom

From Real Clear Politics:
ANDREA MITCHELL, MSNBC: Congressman, briefly, do you think that this will lead to more cameras? I know it's controversial, there are privacy issues. Boston does have a lot of cameras. European cities, led by London, have the most. Are Americans going to have to get used to more surveillance on a daily basis?

REP. PETER KING (R-NY): I think we do because I think privacy involves being in a private location. Being out in the street is not an expectation of privacy. Anyone can look at you, can see you, can watch what you're doing. A camera just makes it more sophisticated, but it's no different from your neighbor looking out the window at you or a police officer looking at you walking down the street.
So, I do think we need more cameras. We have to stay ahead of the terrorists and I do know in New York, the Lower Manhattan Security Initiative, which is based on cameras, the outstanding work that results from that. So yes, I do favor more cameras. They're a great law enforcement method and device. And again, it keeps us ahead of the terrorists, who are constantly trying to kill us.
I hope also that members of Congress, both parties, including my own, will realize that the war against terror is not over. And it's foolhardy to be making cuts in Homeland Security, especially to cities, whose police departments need this to train and to be ready to take on terrorism. (Andrea Mitchell Reports, April 16, 2013)

When Sandyhook happened they couldn't wait to come after our guns. Now,with the terrorist attack in Boston, they want to keep us under constant surveillance.

Tiger Woods Dishonors The Legacy Of Bobby Jones

Tiger Woods was charged a 2 stroke penalty at The Masters on Saturday after signing an incorrect scorecard. Many golfers, both past and present, said that Tiger Woods should have withdrawn from the tournament.3 time Masters champion Nick Faldo saying this:
“He should really sit down and consider this - it will taint his legacy and his life,” he said. “I would be saying: ‘I have broken the rules of golf’. Sometimes the black and whiteness is harsh, but Tiger would get massive brownie points if he stood up and said: ‘Fair enough, I’ve broken the rules’ and walked.”

Explaining why he believed Woods was wrong to play on, Faldo said: “Tiger gained an advantage intentionally. He said so himself. He was judge and jury. If he goes on to win what kind of asterix would he have next to this Masters? Arnold Palmer said that in our game the integrity of golf must be taken forward. We are custodians of the game. We must carry it forward.”

Golf is a game rooted in personal integrity, honor and fair play.It is the only sport where an individual calls a foul upon themselves for infringing upon the rules.

The Masters is a tournament that was created by golfing legend Bobby Jones. It is dedicated to preserving the traditions of the game of golf and perserving the legacy of it founder,Bobby Jones.

Bobby Jones is revered for his personal integrity. He never played the game of golf professionally but always maintained his amateur status. His profession was that of a lawyer.

If there was anyplace Tiger Woods should have upheld the traditions of the game of golf and honored the memory of Bobby Jones,it would be at The Masters.Never the less,Tiger Woods showed he cared nothing for the sport that has made him a multi-millionaire,only caring about his own personal glory.

BTW,you think he would have been allowed to stay in the tournament if he wasn't Tiger Woods? Not a chance.

'IRS:We Can Read Emails Without Warrant'

From The Hill:

In a 2009 handbook, the IRS said the Fourth Amendment does not protect emails because Internet users "do not have a reasonable expectation of privacy in such communications." A 2010 presentation by the IRS Office of General Counsel reiterated the policy.
So,according to our Federal government the 4th Amendment protects a woman's right to an abortion but does not protect our private emails from being read by the IRS.Absurd to say the least.

The Iron Lady Has Passed Away

Margaret Thatcher,Great Britain's Prime Minister from 1979 - 1990,has died at age 87.

She was a staunch ally in the Cold War against communism. She stood unapologetic in her stand against big and instursive government. She was in fact the greatest English Prime Minister since Winston Churchill. She will be greatly missed by all who love liberty.

ATF Seeking To Create 'Massive Online Database'

From cnsnews.com:
A recent solicitation from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) reveals that the agency is seeking a "massive" online database capable of pulling up individuals' personal information, connections and associates.

The Big Business Of 'The War On Poverty'

From Breitbart:
“Boomtown 2” also discussed how companies that administer Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards profit when the welfare rolls swell. Since 2004, for example, JP Morgan, which donated $808,799 to Barack Obama in 2008, has made at least $560,492,596 running EBT programs for 18 states.

Despite the $15 trillion U.S. taxpayers have spent since the war on poverty’s inception, poverty in America is largely unchanged. This week, figures from the U.S. Census Bureau revealed that nearly 50 million Americans live below the federal poverty line.

Just like Boeing and many others have profited off the Military Industrial Complex,so have JP Morgan and others profited hugely off the anti-poverty programs our government cultivates. It would be far cheaper if the federal government cut every single American a check for at least $100 thousand, than to spend it on the anti-poverty programs it has created, but then JP Morgan and others wouldn't be making a huge windfall.Follow the money and you will find the truth every time.

90 Million In Dead Weight

From Zero Hedge:
Things just keep getting worse for the American worker, and by implication US economy, where as we have shown many times before, it pays just as well to sit back and collect disability and various welfare and entitlement checks, than to work .The best manifestation of this: the number of people not in the labor force which in March soared by a massive 663,000 to a record 90 million Americans who are no longer even looking for work. This was the biggest monthly increase in people dropping out of the labor force since January 2012, when the BLS did its census recast of the labor numbers. And even worse, the labor force participation rate plunged from an already abysmal 63.5% to 63.3% - the lowest since 1979! But at least it helped with the now painfully grotesque propaganda that the US unemployment rate is "improving."
