Yes We Do Need The Constitution

While I harp on the Constitution, I know that most of my blathering is just for those who think there is some legitimate means of resistance. I don't think we need it. We do not need to justify our actions through the Constitution, but others might.

We cannot go back to it, but we can demand that the ideals that spawned it are alive and held within the hearts of those patriots of today, because the Constitution is nothing other than a declaration of the power of the people over their government, not the other way around. If one understands and believes that the individual is supreme, what else needs to be established?

TPTB have twisted ever word, every intent to serve themselves, yet the words remain, plain and in simple terms to anyone who cares to read it. We don't. Forget it, it doesn't matter, because we are determined to have liberty through whatever means secures it, or death. That is the original intent of the Constitution, to provide the legitimacy for those who need it and the rest, like us, we don't need it. We know we are not free and nothing else matters.

Their are 3 things that I believe in with all my heart.One is the Holy Bible,it is the unadulterated,inerrant,and inspired Word of God.Another is the Declaration of Independence,it defines where our liberties come from -our 'Creator'-,the purpose of government,and secures to the people the right' to alter or abolish' any form of government 'that becomes destructive to these ends.'Finally I believe in the Constitution as originally constructed,it creates our Federal government,defining its form,purpose,and limitations,through its original intent our liberties are protected.

My question is when did the Constitution betray you,Mr. Davis?When did the Constitution as originally constructed ever steal your liberty?Yes,they have been those,beginning with Lincoln all they way to our present time,who have subverted it,trampled upon it,and manipulated it,who have stolen our liberty,but the Constitution didn't do it.For those who have ears to hear,the Constitution rebuked them for it,but we didn't heed it.The fault lies with 'We the people',not with the Constitution it self.

If not the Constitution,then what form of government do you suggest?What form of government can you come up with that would best secure our liberties to ourselves and our posterity?Not a better one.

As for me,Mr. Davis,I will trust James Madison and our Founding Fathers over you or any one else where our liberties are concerned.

Swine On Swine Crime In Michigan

In the state of Michigan it is now criminal to own certain species of pigs under Michigan's new Invasive Species Order,making it a felony to own them.These 'outlawed' pigs are identified by their fur,skeletal appearance,not having squiggly tails but straight tails,erect ears,and of course,'other characteristics not currently known to the MDNR that are identified by the scientific community.'Most of these species of pigs are owned by small family farms.

To enforce this 'intolerable' order,the Michigan Department of Natural Resources conducted ARMED RAIDS on 2 farms for being in violation of the Invasive Species Order.One farmer to avoid arrest had to shoot his pigs before the 'thugs' arrived.

My guess is that the large corporate pig farms are behind this order.They are seeking to drive their smaller competition out of business,by manipulating the laws against them.After they have ruined them,they will come in buy their farms for next to nothing and create a monopoly by which they can manipulate the market and make out like bandits.

On a side note,I have been wondering how the elites and progressives are going to save themselves in the oncoming economic collapse and I think I know?They are going to control the food supply.We all have to eat and who ever controls the food supply,controls you.

For the last few years our 'betters' have been buying up farm land like crazy.I believe the largest concentration of 'farmers' in the world live in,New York City.Not much farm land in that asphalt jungle.

Also,the Obama administration has been trying to virtually outlaw the family farm with new regulations,that would make them 'too expensive' own.

This should scare the living daylights out of every liberty loving American.If the state of Michigan can violate the 4th Amendment and stage armed raids to enforce some wrong pig policy,what is to stop the Federal or any other state government to invade your home to enforce the wrong diet policy because you are eating pork that doesn't have a squiggly tail.

It is insane policies like this that began the American Revolution.Tea Party folks,do you know why the Sons of Liberty dumped the King's tea into Boston Harbor?Because the King created a monopoly for the East India Company with his Tea Act,by taxing all other tea but the East India Company's tea.Ever heard of the Stamp Act,were the colonies were forced to buy paper that was produced in London with the official King's stamp.

You may say its only pigs,big deal.Well you could say it was only tea and paper back then,but we all know it was about much more than that.It was about all our God given liberties.If the government can violate the smallest of our God given rights,its only a matter of time before they can regulate all our speech,violate all of our property rights,invade our privacy,and take away our means to self defence.

In practice, however, questions this momentous are generally decided 5 to 4, i.e., they depend on whatever side of the bed Justice Anthony Kennedy gets out of that morning.
Ultimately, the question will hinge on whether the Commerce Clause has any limits. If the federal government can compel a private citizen, under threat of a federally imposed penalty, to engage in a private contract with a private entity (to buy health insurance), is there anything the federal government cannot compel the citizen to do?

The FAA Reauthorization Act, which President Obama is expected to sign, also orders the Federal Aviation Administration to develop regulations for the testing and licensing of commercial drones by 2015.

This is another step to place us under total surveillance by a Big Brother police state.

Federal Regulations Halts Birds Migration South

Ten young whooping cranes and the bird-like plane they think is their mother had flown more than halfway to their winter home in Florida when federal regulators stepped in.

Now the birds and the plane are grounded in Alabama while the Federal Aviation Administration investigates whether the journey violates regulations because the pilot was being paid by a conservation group to lead the cranes on their first migration instead of working for free.

FAA regulations say only pilots with commercial pilot licenses can fly for hire. The pilots of Operation Migration's plane are instead licensed to fly sport aircraft because that's the category of aircraft that the group's small, open plane with its rear propeller and bird-like wings falls under. FAA regulations also prohibit sport aircraft - which are sometimes of exotic design - from being flown to benefit a business or charity.

The rules are aimed, in part, at preventing businesses or charities from taking passengers for joyrides in sometimes risky planes.

"That's a valid rule. They shouldn't be hired to do that. But it wasn't written, I believe, to stop a wildlife reintroduction," Joe Duff, an Operation Migration co-founder and one of its pilots, said. The conservation group has agreed voluntarily to stop flying and has applied to FAA for a waiver.

No,Mr. Duff,it is not a "valid rule."This is the 'Nanny State',where the state decides for us what risks we may or may not take.That's not liberty,but rather a soft form of tyranny.

Under liberty,my life is my own,it does not belong to the state.I make my own decisions.I assume the responsibility of what risks to take with my own life and bear the consequences of those decisions.If I am free,then I have the right,not only to succeed in life,but to fail and do stupid things also.

If I cannot judge for myself that an open air cockpit,with a rear propeller,and with bird like wings is more risky to fly in than a cessna or a 747,maybe the government shouldn't trust me with a knife and fork either.

Keep in mind: the problems are economic.US energy policy sucks, the monetary policy sucks even more, and the entitlement mentality has sapped the American zest for liberty to an alarming degree. You’ve had a Presidential candidate tell the truth about Social Security in a very big way, and now he’s being thrown under the bus. Can Americans handle the truth?


I think the country is still half-awake. The growing awareness of what is wrong is there. What is lacking is the leadership and guts to take the pain of correcting the mess.


You cannot take a moderate approach to cancer; hence the disquiet with the smooth-talking blue-state RINO possibilities for President. They either give good concession speech to BHO’s second term, or continue to expand the federal government, to the detriment of liberty.


We must restrain this federal government, as the Founders would have it.

Where 3 Or More Our Gathered In Jesus Name And Be Fined $300

An Orange County couple has been ordered to stop holding a Bible study in their home on the grounds that the meeting violates a city ordinance as a “church” and not as a private gathering.
Homeowners Chuck and Stephanie Fromm, of San Juan Capistrano, were fined $300 earlier this month for holding what city officials called “a regular gathering of more than three people”.

This is absurd! What right has any government -whether its is federal,state,or local- to tell me or anyone else, how many people we allow in our homes at any time and tell us what we can and can not do inside them? ITS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS!

Furthermore,what about this couple's 1st Amendment rights? I thought we had the "free exercise" to practice our religion anywhere,most especially in our own homes.Oh,I forgot we are no longer governed by the Constitution,but by a bureaucratic state,my apologizes.

This is just more evidence of how little regard our governments have for constitutional liberty.

Most Americans are either oblivious to the fiscal mess we're in or panicked by Obama and the liberal media into the view that their intransigent representatives need to hurry up and "fix" this with more borrowing. Yet there has never been any nation even remotely similar to America. Here’s why. Most revolutions seek to destroy the existing class order and use all-powerful government to mandate an equality of result rather than of opportunity — in the manner of the French Revolution’s slogan of “liberty, equality, and fraternity” or the Russian Revolution’s “peace, land, and bread.”
In contrast, our revolutionaries shouted “Don’t tread on me!” and “Give me liberty or give me death!” The Founders were convinced that constitutionally protected freedom would allow the individual to create wealth apart from government. Such enlightened self-interest would then enrich society at large far more effectively that could an all-powerful state. 
Such constitutionally protected private property, free enterprise, and market capitalism explain why the United States — with only about 4.5 percent of the world’s population — even today, in an intensely competitive global economy, still produces a quarter of the world’s goods and services. To make America unexceptional, inept government overseers, as elsewhere in the world, would determine the conditions — where, when, how and by whom — under which businesses operate.
Individual freedom in America manifests itself in ways most of the world can hardly fathom — whether our unique tradition of the right to gun ownership, the near impossibility of proving libel in American courts, or the singular custom of multimillion-dollar philanthropic institutions, foundations, and private endowments. Herding, silencing, or enfeebling Americans is almost impossible — and will remain so as long as well-protected citizens can say what they want and do as they please with their hard-earned money.
Race, tribe, or religion often defines a nation’s character, either through loose confederations of ethnic or religious blocs as in Rwanda, Iraq, and the former Yugoslavia, or by equating a citizenry with a shared appearance as reflected in the German word “volk” or the Spanish “raza.” And while the United States was originally crafted largely by white males who improved upon Anglo-Saxon customs and the European Enlightenment, the Founders set in place an “all men are created equal” system that quite logically evolved into the racially blind society of today.
This year a minority of babies born in the United States will resemble the look of the Founding Fathers. Yet America will continue as it was envisioned, as long as those of various races and colors are committed to the country’s original ideals. When International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn was accused of sexual assault against a West African immigrant maid in New York, supposedly liberal French elites were outraged that America would dare bring charges against such an establishment aristocrat. Americans, on the other hand, would have been more outraged had their country not done so.
The Founders’ notion of the rule of law, coupled with freedom of the individual, explains why the United States runs on merit, not tribal affinities or birth. Most elsewhere, being a first cousin of a government official, or having a prestigious name, ensures special treatment from the state. Yet in America, nepotism is never assured. End that notion of American merit and replace it with racial tribalism, cronyism, or aristocratic privilege, and America itself would vanish as we know it.
There is no rational reason why a small republican experiment in 1776 grew to dominate global culture and society — except that America is the only nation, past or present, that put trust in the individual rather than in the state and its elite bureaucracy. Such confidence in the average free citizen made America absolutely exceptional — something we should remember more than ever on this Fourth of July.

The greatness of America doesn't lie in our government-though our government has the potential to display it-but it lies in the ordinary men and women,who live extraordinary lives because they are free to do so.This is what we are fighting to preserve and hold on to in this country,against a large and powerful,tyrannical-though it poses as caring and benevolent-Federal government,that wishes to dictate to us every detail of our lives,thus taking away our liberties.The age old question is this,would you rather exist secure in slavery,or would you rather live and die as a freeman,that's the choice?
